February 23rd 2026 - Outdoor and Adventure

Today as a school, we purhased a set of plate compasses. This is to compliment our existing 'Outdoor and Adventure' equipment for PE. We spent some time looking at map reading, and learned how to set and use a compass as a navigational aid. We also spoke a bit about pacing, and counting steps to approximate 100 meters. February 5th 2026 - Gymnastics continues with Joe

Gymnastics continued today. Everyone is really loving it, and making great progress!

January 22nd - Gymnastics

Gymnastics continued today as part of our PE curriculum. It's really turning out to be an enjoyable way to keep active on a Thursday afternoon, especially with the rainy weather outside!

January 8th 2026 - Gymnastics

Today we started gymnastics as part of our PE program with Joe from School Fitness Ireland. Everybody really gave it there all, and really enjoyed it.

Hurling with Brendan Hayden - Carow GAA- April 29th

This week we started Hurling with Carlow GAA GDA, Brendan Hayden. We had really fantastic weather, and it was a great opportunity for everybody in Scoil Moling to get involved in Hurling with such a top class coach.
