Indoor Hurling Blitz 2025/2026
On the 1st of December the boys from 4th & 6th Class played Drummond, Newtown, Borris and Ballymurphy. We played Drummond first and we won 6-4. We then played Newtown. We drew 3-3. Thirdly we drew with Borris in a tight match. We then played Ballymurphy and won.
The Cumann na mBunscol indoor hurling final was on 15th of January. We played 4 matches. We won the first one that we played. We then played Ballinabranna and we drew with them. We then played Tullow and lost sadly. We then bet Clonegal. We came second overall. We were a bit disappointed but all in all we were happy. Mouse Kavanagh came in and presented our medals. He also congratulated the girls football team on their win before Christmas. He answered loads of interesting questions about hurling that we had.

Indoor Camogie Blitz 2025
The 6th,5th & 4th class girls played three matches against Drummond, Newtown & Borris. Our first match was against Borris. Everyone played very well. The final score was 1:2. After that we played Newtown, everyone worked super hard and the score was 3:l.
Our last match was against Drummond it was a super game from all our team but the score was 1:2. It was great fun and everybody worked super hard.

Cumann na mBunscol Girls Football blitz 2025
On the 21st October we had our girls football final in Fenagh. We got the first goal and were winning in the first half and then Newtown had a comeback. In the last five minutes we scored two goals and a point to win! We were presented with a shield.

Cumann na mBunscol Boys Football blitz 2025
On the 6th of October 2025, our 5th and 6th class headed up to the pitch in Bahana to play our boys football blitz. Our trainers: Ms.O’Dwyer and Elaine had been training us for the past few Fridays at big lunch. Our players showed great teamwork and compassion during the blitz and had a great result, winning 2 and losing 2. Our panel contained most of the 6th class and all of the 5th class.

Cross Country 2025
On the 1st of October, 5th and 6th class went to a cross country competition. When we arrived at the pitch we started to warm up and do some stretches. The first races were the fourth class races. They had to run eight hundred metres. Then the fifth class races were on and we had to run one thousand metres, it was a lot to run but we still had fun. Next were the sixth class races, they had to run one thousand two hundred metres. We got ice cream on the way home, we had a great day!
