Scoil Moling- Glynn is a small, rural school located close to the beautiful village of St.Mullins. Our school is a Catholic, co-educational primary school under the Patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Kildare & Leighlin.
There is a long tradition of education in the area with the school being established in 1829. The original school building was built in 1942 and consisted of two classrooms. An extra classroom was added in 1964 and a pre-fabricated building was erected in 1995 to accommodate the increased enrolment at the time. On September 1st, 2021, we opened our newly renovated and extended school building. In November 2023, we completed a CLÁR
project, which saw the addition of an amazing playground to our school grounds.
We have three mainstream teachers, one SET teacher and one SNA. We are lucky to have a fantastic secretary, cleaner and caretaker who make sure the school runs efficiently. We have an active Parents’ Association and a proactive Board of Management who support the school. Many people have given their time and expertise to supporting the school and local community over the years and they continue to play an active part in the life of the parish.
