Already this year the Active Schools Committee has been hard at work. In September, they organised a Relays Take Over event, and in October an obstacle course as part of our Halloween celebrations.
The committee are working on plans to get playground leaders back in place, as well as teaching and supporting new games that can be played in yard.

This month we've started playground leaders which we do every Thursday at big break. We have also started 10@10 which we do on Wednesdays.
Our last meeting was on St. Brigid’s Day and our next will be on Thursday, 22nd February.
As playground leaders, we think of games to play with one of our classrooms. Some of the games we have played are obstacle courses, Man from Mars, Simon Says, Stuck in the Mud and rounders. During 10 @10, we do 10 minutes of exercise at 10 o’clock on Wednesday every week- Luke,5th Class
