Our Green Schools committee has some very exciting news to share!
We recently planted 50 trees as part of the Hare’s Corner initiative. It was a fantastic event, and everyone got involved digging, planting and learning about how important trees are for our planet. By planting these trees, we are helping to create more space for nature through the
creation of habitats. This means more homes for birds, bees, butterflies and other wildlife. In a few years’ time, we will even have our very own mini woodland at school!
There’s more good news too, our Gardening Club will be starting back at lunchtime from the 4th of March. If you enjoy planting, weeding, watering or just being outdoors, make sure to come along. It’s a great way to help our school stay green and beautiful.
Let’s keep working together to make our school a greener and happier place!
