March 2024

In the Student Council, we have been very busy throughout the last few weeks planning for events such as World Book Day and Seachtain na Gaeilge. For World Book Day we did a parade and a drama. For Seachtain na Gaeilge we had an all-Irish day. We had a Lá Glas and of all the students participated in a parade, a céilí and a tráth na gceist. In term three we are going to be organising lots of fun activities to enhance pupil wellbeing.

During our recent Open Afternoon, our members of the Student Council in the senior room were busy showcasing all the work our Student Council do. The Student Council were very pleased to hear all the positive feedback they received on events that took place during term 1. We continue to focus on the area of Wellbeing and are busy discussing lots of ideas to promote the wellbeing of everybody in our school. We look forward to putting many of our ideas into practice during terms two and three.
